GFO Packing can be used in rotary, reciprocating and static sealing applications handling most chemical media. Exceptions are molten alkali metals and strong oxidizing media such as oleum, aqua-regia and fuming nitric acid. It is particularly good in sealing water, steam, slurries, oils, acids and alkalis. SERVICE
General Service packing can be used in rotary and reciprocating applications specifically for the marine industry. It has a relatively high level of chemical & wear resistance with low friction properties, resistant to pressure and does not swell or rot in water. It provides a long service life. This is an economic packing for general & marine applications. The strong yet conformable nature provides high pressure sealing to be achieved over a long time. Typical sealing applications include cold and warm fresh and sea water, potable water, solutions with solid particles, oils & solvents.

PACKING SETS
Die formed or pre-formed packing sets allows distribution of the mechanical pressure evenly along the entire sleeve. It also helps to eliminate the fine leak paths that exist between fibers of packing. Can be manufactured from virtually any packing product.
